Cookie policy

A short list, because there is a short list. We set what the service needs to work and remember what you chose; nothing follows you off this site.

1. What a cookie is here

A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep and hand back on the next visit. Some of what we store is not a cookie at all but browser local storage, which works the same way from your point of view and is listed below for that reason.

2. Everything we store

On this website

  • NEXT_LOCALE — a cookie remembering whether you are reading the English or Hindi version, so the choice survives a reload. Set only once you pick a language.
  • offichr.theme — local storage, remembering light or dark mode. It never leaves your browser.

Inside the product, once you sign in

  • refreshToken — an HttpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in without asking for your password on every page. It is restricted to your workspace's address, is not readable by scripts, and is cleared when you sign out.

3. Analytics

We use Plausible to count page views. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier for you — there is nothing to opt out of and nothing that follows you to another site. We can see that a page was viewed; we cannot see that it was you.

4. What we do not do

  • No advertising or retargeting pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag.
  • No cross-site tracking, and no selling or sharing of browsing data.
  • No cookie that exists only to profile you — every item above does a job you asked for.

5. Turning them off

Every browser can block or clear cookies and site data. Blocking NEXT_LOCALE means the site asks for your language again on each visit; blocking offichr.theme means it opens in your system theme. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in to the product, because that cookie is how staying signed in works.

6. Changes

If we ever add something, it will be listed here before it is switched on, and anything that is not strictly needed will ask you first. Questions: [email protected].
